About Andrew Vetter

Andrew Vetter is a Sports Physiotherapist, here at Physiotec, Brisbane.

Andrew has a special interest in treating hip and groin pain, shoulder injuries, and lower limb recoveries. Andrew aims to provide high quality care to his patients, help them perform better, recover from injuries, and get back to doing the things they love.

Andrew graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014. He has extensive experience in private practice where he has fostered a passion for evidence-based physiotherapy and strives to help his patients return to the activities that are most important to them. Over this time, Andrew worked with a range of sports teams including the Hong Kong National Men’s Rugby XV team, Queensland Reds Senior Academy, Queensland Premier Rugby (GPS), Brisbane and National Premier League Football (Lions FC) and QAFL (Coorparoo AFL Club).

Andrew also worked as the rehabilitation physiotherapist for the Queensland Reds Men’s Super Rugby team over the 2023 and 2024 seasons, where he combined his passion for manual therapy and exercise-based rehabilitation to empower athletes to return to the highest level of performance after injury.

Through his experiences and training, Andrew has developed a particular interest in the treatment of hip and groin pain, shoulder injuries, as well as helping clients recover from lower limb injuries and surgeries. Andrew has further training in dry needling and pain management in the private practice setting.

Andrew loves to travel, having backpacked and hiked through South and Central America. When he is not in the clinic, he might be found at the rugby, in the gym or enjoying camping and hiking.
