About Dr. Helen Fleming

Helen is a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist (as awarded by the Australian College of Physiotherapists in 2007) with over 25 years of clinical experience in hospitals and private practice. She graduated from the University of QLD in 1990 and subsequently gained her Masters Manipulative Physiotherapy Studies in 1997. In 2007, Helen was awarded Fellowship of the Australian College of Physiotherapists after successfully completing her specialisation examinations. She is now an experienced examiner for the Australian College of Physiotherapists.
Helen is a well- recognised expert in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Helen worked as a lecturer and clinical tutor for the masters program at the University of Queensland for five years. She lectured and tutored at Trinity College and University College in Dublin, Ireland, and has been an invited lecturer and clinical tutor at the University of Melbourne.

Helen has presented nationally and internationally on the assessment and management of the musculoskeletal system. She has specialist expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of the hip, pelvis and spine . Helen is highly skilled in providing specific exercise programs to rehabilitate and improve muscle control using real-time ultrasound for biofeedback.
