Indianna has just finished her masters degree in Sports Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland. She has also completed post-graduate certification in Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic health through the University of Melbourne. Indianna has a few interest areas:
HIP PAIN:
Indianna started training in Alison Grimaldi’s theory and technique for managing hip pain in 2009. Over the past decade, she has dedicated time to keep up to date with assessment and management of all aspects of hip pain. She takes a strong stance on exercise rehabilitation, load management and optimising biomechanics to treat and prevent hip pain.
PELVIC HEALTH:
Indianna’s interest in improving pelvic health in all populations stimulated her to qualify to work as a pelvic health physio. She combines this experience and knowledge with her knowledge of musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy to manage the pelvic health patient in a holistic way.
SPORTS INJURIES:
Having completed full-time ballet training in her youth, Indianna has a deep understanding of the loads placed on modern dancers and elite athletes alike. Marrying this with her post-graduate education she is uniquely placed to thoroughly assess and manage dancers and ex dancers. She also has experience with elite AFL football, gymnastics, kayaking and triathlon.
