About Robyn Hickmott

Robyn Hickmott is a physiotherapist in Perth, Western Australia who graduated in 1986 from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy). She worked initiallly in multidisciplinary units in public hospitals, and then in sports medicine clinics after completing postgraduate studies in Sports Physiotherapy in 1992. In 2009 Robyn added further post-graduate qualifications in Continence and Women’s Health, also from Curtin University

Since 1994 she has worked exclusively in private practice, and co-owned a successful musculoskeletal physiotherapy business for 14 years. Over the last decade she has developed a clinical interest in assisting those affected by Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders. Robyn is a dedicated clinician who sees patients of all ages, and is passionate about evidenced based practice, exercise therapy, research and pelvic health.

Robyn Hickmott is an experienced physiotherapist with a special interest in women's health issues, dysfunctional pelvic floor and issues assoicated with hypermobility.  Robyn is available for appointments at Southcare which is a dynamic practice which also provides hydrotherapy and pilates.

Southcare has been an integral part of the community for over 20 years, providing physiotherapy services to St John of God Murdoch hospital since it first opened in 1994.
